*** SAFE 06/28/15 *** WINTER WHITE IS A ONE YEAR OLD WITH A SWEET PURRSONALITY…..He came into the ACC with a neck wound from an unknown source. The ACC went to all the trouble of suturing it and putting him on the road to recovery only to take a deadly detour and list him for tomorrow. WINTER WHITE IS A FRIENDLY GUY LOOKING FOR LOVE….PLEASE DON’T LET HIM DIE TOMORROW…..OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT HIM NOW!!

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 06/17/2015 from NY 11236, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

06/25/2015 Exam Type RE-EXAM – Medical Rating is 3 C – MAJOR CONDITIONS , Behavior Rating is NONE, Weight 11.2 LBS.
S/O: Vet check for monitor wound on neck. Patient is BAR on presentation. Bandage placed yesterday was completely torn off this morning. Eating well No c/s/v/d. Neck wound appeared to have healthy pink tissue – the sutures previously placed were loose around the perimeters Flushed with Nolvasan solution Covered with calcium zinc dressing Placed harness wrap to keep neck covered Re-placed e-collar. Continue to monitor and conitnue current treatment plan – plea sent yesterday Recheck tomorrow for bandage placement

Notes: Winter White was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Winter White is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, is calm, relaxed and friendly When spoken quietly: comes to the front of cage, soliciting, rubbing against front Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling Placement Determination: Beginner
