I am a male blk tabby maine coon. The shelter thinks I am about 9 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 04/03/2015 from NY 10473, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

This gentle boy loves being petted and had a blast head butting me! Willy is 9 years old, so he still has plenty of years of loving to give! Come and take Willy home today!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Willy meows and comes to the front. Whens softly spoken to, he continues to meow and is calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction to cage door opening: Willy remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Willy head-butts the assessor’s hand, remains in place for petting, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Willy remains calm and allows handling. Note: Willy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. The finder says he was friendly with most people. He allowed handling upon intake and during his initial medical exam. Behavior Determination: Beginner Willy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.

scanned negative neutered male s/o: geriatric–est 9 yo oligodontia, heavy tartar on remaining teeth prominent mandibular symphysis but does not seems pathologic–should be monitored heart and lungs wnl matted fur AS scarred and stenotic ear mites right front paw has ingrown nails–clipped and cleaned a: dental disease scarred ear ingrown nails P: applied revolution gave pyrantel cleaned ears chipped tartar off teeth fair prognosis–would need bloodwork to fully assess
