Reaction to assessor: Willy meows and comes to the front. Whens softly spoken to, he continues to meow and is calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction to cage door opening: Willy remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Willy head-butts the assessor’s hand, remains in place for petting, and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Willy remains calm and allows handling. Note: Willy was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. The finder says he was friendly with most people. He allowed handling upon intake and during his initial medical exam. Behavior Determination: Beginner Willy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
