Head-butts, Purrs, Solicits Petting and Attention…WHY ISN’T WILLOW IN THE ADOPTIONS ROOM?? Because she caught the famous ACC cold and as always they would rather kill than cure!! 12/05/15 14:41 Willow is a black domestic short hair with no known medical conditions. Willow was found wandering loose and allowed finder to pick her up and pet her. During intake Willow was very vocal. When counselor approached Willow started to push against the carrier seeking attention. Once out of the carrier Willow was very affectionate and head butted counselor’s hand. Willow allowed to be scanned collared with ease.

Reaction to assessor: Willow lays at the front of the cage. Calmly watching the assessor. When spoken quietly: Willow stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Willow remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: Willow solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Willow is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Beginner Willow was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Willow is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
