***GONE 12/12/15*** WILLIE WAS DUMPED WHEN HER OWNER MOVED AND WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE HAS NO HOME AND IS AFRAID! WILLIE’S owner moved away and left his 6 year old GIRL CAT NAMED WILLIE at the kill happy shelter. WILLIE also came into the shelter with her sister named Seabug, who is still available also for adoption. WILLIE lived with a small child but stayed away from her – and we can only guess why. This poor girl is afraid and got an EXPNOCHILD RATING but we all know once she is back in a safe loving home, her real purrsonality will come back. GIVE WILLIE A CHANCE TONIGHT AND CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO FOSTER OR ADOPT. IF YOU NEED RESCUE INFO EMAIL THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] . GIVE WILLIE A HAPPY HOLIDAY TODAY!

12/09/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Willie’s former owner described her as gentle, quiet, and independentand inquisitive. She has lived with a 3 year old child. Willie tolerates the child but tends to run off when she hears the child approaching. She is friendly with her sister Seabug but they keep a certain distance from each other. When Willie is lying down on the bed, Seabug would lie on the floor and vice versa. Reaction to assessor: Willie looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Willie remains hiding in her cat den, alert with pupils dilated. Reaction to touch: Willie at first accepts the stroke, but stiffens up and skin twitches during the touch then began to breathe heavy in place. Placement determination: Experience / no child Willie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
