08/22/15 18:46 Basic information: Widow’s previous owner had to surrender her because her mother was allergic to her. Widow is four months, she is a domestic short hair and her previous owner had her for 2 months. She got her as a gift from a friend. Widow has never been seen by a vet. The two things her previous owner liked most about her are; she wakes her up in the morning and she cuddles at night. Social Life and Personality: Around children Widow is relaxed and affectionate and when she plays she is exuberant. Around dogs she is fearful. She is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. Her activity level is very high and she can be described as playful confident, friendly, assertive, fearful of mops, affectionate, quiet and independent. Behavior Issues: Widow enjoys baths, having her coat brushed, and being held or picked up. She struggles when put in carriers and isn’t bothered if she is disturbed up while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Widow used clay litter in an uncovered litter box. She liked to play with balls and anything that made a crinkling sound (plastic). She scratched on furniture. When her previous owners were home she would tend to follow them around and liked to be in the same room as them. When she played with her owners she was exuberant. She is afraid of car rides. She ate Friskies wet food. At night she slept in her owner’s bed. Behavior during intake: Widow sat calmly in my lap for half of her intake. She allowed me to carry her around and liked being scratched behind the ears. She went in and out of her carrier and showed no signs of aggression.
