**GONE 09/29/15** SECOND CHANCE FOR WONDERFUL WATERFALL!! It’s a pet owner’s WORST FEAR! An unexpected trip to the hospital, then being fully admitted for care, then…..who is left to take care of the cats? NO ONE! Tonight, 8 poor, frightened souls are at the MERCY of everyone who sees this post, all because their former owner is hospitalized and no one else was able to care for them, so they were brought to the shelter. YERT-WATERFALL-XANADU-UMBERTO-LUCY-FANNY-PAULIE -NATALE are GOOD cats caught up in a TERRIBLE situation. Please read their biographies carefully, then THINK! Who do you know who could FOSTER or ADOPT one of these housemates? Please share these guys and girls WIDELY, tonight!

09/21/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Waterfall was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in his previous home. During the intake she was nervous and slightly difficult to handle due to the fact that she was brought in with multiple cats in a large carrier. Reaction to assessor: Waterfall makes eye contact with the assessor while lying down. Reaction when softly spoken to: Waterfall lays motionless still focused on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Waterfall raises her head up with wide eyes. Reaction to touch: Waterfall’s ears flatten while moving her head away from the assessor. She then attempts to hide. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Waterfall tolerates petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
