I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/31/2015 from NY 10029, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

Reaction to assessor: Vorhee comes to the front of the cage – soliciting attention, rubbing against the cage front, and reaching out with paws. Reaction when softly spoken to: Vorhee stays at the front and continues to solicit attention – rubbing against the cage front. Reaction to cage door opening: Vorhee remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Vorhee solicits petting and attention – rubbing against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to being picked up: Vorhee settles comfortably and starts to groom the assessor’s hair. Behavior Determination: Beginner Vorhee interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to beginner home.
