07/16/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/16/15 09:26 Violeta was found walking along Clark place on 7/10/15. When the finder saw her, she was covered in scars and was near death. She says that she took her in and helped her. She fed her and cared for her but since she has another cat. She can not keep her. She said she kept her long enough until she got better. Behavior during intake Violeta came out of her carrier on her own. She allowed scanning(-), and collaring. I pet her gently as she meowed. When approached too quickly, she flinches and cowers down. She relaxes after a few strokes and allows to be handled.
07/20/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Violeta is the picture of cool, calm and collected. When I approached her cage, it was naptime; when I left her cage, it was still naptime; in between, it was naptime. She greeted me with a friendly look, and went right back to sleep. Unperturbed by my presence, unphased by me shoving a noisy camera in her face, she just took everything in stride. What a soothing presence she will be in someone’s lap!
