*** SAFE 08/28/15 *** “A volunteer writes: Vienna is an orange and white baby who is alone in the world. This little boy is very shy, and who could blame him? How he wishes for that special someone to come in to visit, and take him to his forever home! That person would also be the one to take this once-shy kitty and turn him into the loving, playful little guy he’s meant to be. Are you that person?: VIENNA is a NEUTERED 3-month-old kitten who came into the ACC during their #ClearTheShelters promotion. He has an EXPERIENCE rating and should be allowed to live a long, healthy, happy life…..except that the ACC have NO idea how to get him into such a home and frankly, he is not a priority to them. Is he a priority to YOU? Enough of a priority that you will foster/adopt him? Please share VIENNA everywhere you can think of, tonight!

08/18/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Does not come to the front but remains neutral. (2) Reaction to being spoken to quietly: Ignores me completely. (2) Reaction to cage door opening: Remains motionless. (2) Reaction to touch: Seems indifferent to my presence and touch. (2) Reaction to being picked up: Tolerant of this type of handling, but tense. Notes: Vienna came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. At the time of the assessment, Vienna is displaying neutral behavior. He does not interact with the assessor but allows handling. Vienna is exhibiting behavior suited to experienced cat parents who can slowly socialize him and allow him to adjust to a new home.
