12/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Vernon came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Vernon was nervous and attempted to flee. Reaction to assessor: Vernon is lying in the back of his cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Vernon remains motionless. Reaction to cage door opening: Vernon cries and becomes tense. Reaction to touch: Vernon allows petting and attention. Reaction to pick up: Vernon is tolerant of this type of handling.
