***SAFE 08/07/15*** SECOND CHANCE!! TERRIFIC TURKEY MUM TO BE NEEDS YOU-BE HER RESCUE ANGEL! Turkey may not be too fond of her name (and we don’t blame her) but she would surely be grateful to that special purrson who could open up their heart and home to this mom to be. Turkey is a year and a half year old black and white cutie who came into the shelter on 7/31 with kittens Wings and Linda and she is possibly pregnant. We are not sure if she’s their mum but we are certain Turkey desperately needs a miracle to save her precious life. She is scared but not aggressive and needs a special someone to give her a chance to decompress and have her babies in peace—something the ACC is not going to give her. Can you open up your heart and home to this mum to be? Contact a NEW HOPE rescue and tell them you’ll take Turkey into your home. Please help write a happy ending to this sad tale. Be Turkey’s hero!!!!

08/04/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Turkey was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. Turkey will attempt to flee when given the chance. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front , appears fearful When spoken quietly: does not come to front , appears fearful Reaction to door cage opening: remains fearful, Reaction to touch: allows petting but remains very nervous Try picking cat up: Did not attempt to pick up Turkey due to fear of her attempting to flee Placement Determination: Experience no child
