Behavior: New Hope Only
Reaction to assessor: Does not come to the front but remains neutral. (2)
Reaction to being spoken to quietly: Stiff and alert. (3)
Reaction to cage door opening: Retreats to back of cage. (3)
Reaction to touch: Moves away and tries to flee cage. (4)
Notes: Tune came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. At the time of the assessment, Tune is displaying fearful behavior. He avoids interaction with the assessor and does not allow handling. Tune is exhibiting behavior suited to rescue partners.
