***GONE 08/14/15*** TERRIFIC TUNA IS A ONE YEAR OLD LITTLE LADY WHO WAS DUMPED AS A STRAY. NOW SHE CAUGHT A COLD AND WILL DIE FOR IT! TUNA is a grown kitten who ended up at the shelter. She is nervous and wondering what is going on and received an EXPERIENCE behavior rating for her fear although she loved having her head rubbed. TUNA would love to be rescued and given a furever home. But the ACC has slated her for death at NOON Friday because she caught the shelter cold. TUNA is adorable and has her whole life ahead of her if someone would kindly offer to foster or adopt her. CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL TUNA TO SAFETY!!!

07/31/15 22:03 Tuna is a 1 year old gray tabby domestic shorthair cat who arrived as a stray surrender. Upon intake Tuna was not handled. Counselor was able to scan for microhip but did not collar and photographed in the carrier.

Notes: Tuna was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying timid behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention and tolerates all petting. Tuna is displaying behavior appropriate for experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front , appears nervous When spoken quietly: does not come to front , appears nervous Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention, responds well to head rubs Try picking cat up: allows handling but prefers not to be held Placement Determination: Experience
