I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 05/18/2015 from NY 11238, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

05/18/15 18:50 Trudy is an orange cat that was found unattended and brought to the shelter. At intake, the counselor was allowed to pet, scan, and collar the cat. The cat remained quiet throughout the intake.

A staff member writes: This sweetheart makes the most adorable little noises I have ever heard. She chirps and kneads her blanket as soon as she sees a friendly face, and turns into a little purr machine when she comes up to the front of her cage for some head scratches. Trudy is truly an awesome little lady; could she find her forever home with you?

Notes: Trudy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Trudy is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains relaxed (2) Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch (2) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
