09/24/15 12:46 Basic Information: Trixie appears to be around 7 years old. She was found as a stray a year and never been to the vet. Owner surrenders Trixie due to personal problems. Social Life and Personality: Trixie lived with one female adult for the past year and never been around children. Owner stated Trixie is relaxed and tolerant towards owner. Trixie lived with another cat and was fearful towards the cat. Trixie will hiss and swat at other cat when it was time to eat. Trixie behavior is unknown towards dogs. She was indoor/outdoor cat and activity level is low. Owner describes Trixie as mellow, friendly, affectionate and independent. Behavior Issues: Trixie has never bitten or scratched anyone owner stated. Trixie was never given a bath or nail trim. She struggles to be picked up and held. Owner stated Trixie has litter box issues but doesn’t know how long it’s been going on. Owner stated Trixie will urinate/ defecate outside litter box and doesn’t know the reason why. For a New Family to Know: Trixie doesn’t’ play with toys and rather sleep all day and lay where ever the sun shines. When she wants to go outside she cries at the door and comes back when time to eat. Trixie eats wet and dry food either Purina, Friskies or 9 lives. Intake Behavior: Upon intake Trixie was calm and relaxed. She scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.

The previous owner stated Trixie is relaxed and tolerant towards her. Trixie lived with another cat and was fearful towards the cat. Trixie will hiss and swat at other cat when it was time to eat. Trixie behavior is unknown towards dogs. She was indoor/outdoor cat and activity level is low. Trixie is described as mellow, friendly, affectionate and independent. Notes: Trixie at the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Trixie is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
