TRICKY – A1048342
8-25-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 08/25/15***TRICKY is a pretty Calico cat who was brought into the shelter as a stray with several other cats. She is around 2 years old. TRICKY is fearful of being in the shelter in a small cage, but she allows herself to be pet and tolerates attention. She could easily warm up and become a loving kitty companion! But she doesn’t have any time, since she may be put to death in a matter of hours. She can go to experienced cat parents with no children. Please save the life of this sweet scared cat who just needs a little love and patience!

08/24/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Tricky does not come to the front, but remains neutral inside her cage. She looks around when softly spoken to, and avoids eye contact with the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Tricky becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Tricky retreats to the back of the cage and squeezes into the corner. She begins to lip lick and flinches when pet, but remains immobile. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Tricky tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
