TREY – A1048569
8-28-2015 Brooklyn
*** GONE 08/28/15 *** Trey is a lively young dude who needs a NEW HOPE rescue to save his life, tonight! This handsome kitten can tell the ACC are dangerous to him, so he has not exactly gone out of his way to suck up to his captors. Naturally, they slapped him with a New Hope rating and then shoved him onto tonight’s crowded euth list. Trey is in great shape health-wise and is probably someone’s lost, moderately freaked-out kitten. He should calm right down once he is neutered and given a minute to chill out in a non-deadly setting. Can you help? Please pledge toward his care and work with a New Hope rescue to save TREY, tonight!

08/26/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Trey was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. He seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment he was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: becomes stiff, alert, wide eyes Reaction to touch: hisses, strikes, does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: did not attempt to pick the cat up, fractious behavior Placement Determination: NewHope
