TRACEY – A1054090
Gone 10-14-2015 Brooklyn
***GONE 10/14/15*** TRACEYS gender seems to be somewhat of a problem to determine because HES referred to as as SHE in the notes. Of course, the ACC is famous for their inability to determine complicated specialist knowledge like that….. But no matter, this black beauty needs a HOME! He’s 2 years old and has a kitty cold but will be”excellent ” with antibiotics! He’s a little jumpy but DOES tolerate attention and petting. However, the assessor feels that TRACEY may be intimidated by small children so he’s rated EXPNOCHILD. But that’s just until he gets used to NEW surroundings and after he does he should be just fine! PLEASE, give this TOOTSIE roll a chance! HE OR SHE will love you for it. Offer to FOSTER or ADOPT TRACEY and give him the home he deserves!

10/12/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Tracey was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He was calm and well behaved throughout the intake process. He allowed handling and did not display any negative behaviors. He was also tolerant to handling during his initial medical exam. Reaction to Assessor: Tracey was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Tracey looks at the assessor with relaxed eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Tracey remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Tracey was a bit hesitant, but slowly warms up to touch. He begins to purr and lean on the assessor’s hand. However, he becomes stiff and alert with any sudden movements, and will hiss and lip lick. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Tracey tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
