SAFE 04/23/15 TIGER MARKED TORTILLA IS ANOTHER ONE YEAR OLD scared, but allowed petting, and probably, though listed as a ‘stray’ was someone’s lost or abandoned pet. Scared little boy really needs someone to watch over him and get him out of the scary place he’s in! TORTILLA. Found between Hells Kitchen and Midtown, in Manhattan, it’s almost certain TORTILLA was a cat who ‘belonged’ but without your help he will die tomorrow at noon. SAVE TORTILLA NOW!!!!

04/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Tortilla looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Tortilla remains crouched down with tail tightly curled close to the body at the back of his cage, alert with pupils fully dilated. Reaction to touch: Tortilla accepts the stroke, but stiffens up during the touch and shows no interest. Placement determination: Experience / no child Tortilla tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
