Notes: Tonic was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying timid behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, allows attention, allows handling and tolerates all petting. Tonic is displaying behavior appropriate for experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to door cage opening: remains neutral Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Reaction to toy or novel object: shows no interest in playing Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling but tense Placement Determination: Experience
