***SAFE 06/23/15***TERRIFIC TOMMY—SWEET GINGERBRED MAN NEEDS TLC AND YOU! Poor Tommy came into the shelter a few days ago as a stray surrender with a couple of injuries including a pelvic fracture and difficulty moving his hind paws. Despite being uncomfortable, Tommy is extremely easy to handle. And despite the ACC noting that he has a “good prognosis” with his current therapy, they still plan to kill this angel when tomorrow afternoon rolls around. Tommy needs follow up vet care and a loving place to get healthy again. If you can help, please reserve him online or contact a NH rescue for help with transportation. If you want to foster Tommy while he receives follow up care, most rescues will assist with vet bills. Won’t you please offer this great guy a new leash on life. Be terrific Tommy’s rescue angel!

Notes: Tommy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Tries to avoid being touched. I was able to pet him and interact with her in a limited way. Toomy should go to a home with experienced cat parents.
