BEGINNER-RATED 12-YEAR-OLD SENIOR EBONY CHARMER HAS A LOVING VOLUNTEER PLEA – PLEASE GRANT PIE A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Who doesn’t love PIE? Adorable black elder-cat PIE, a stately 12 years of age, finds himself stuffed into the high-kill ACC after his old owner decided to move to new cat-free digs. Pie quickly caught the attention of an ACC volunteer, who lovingly writes: “Pie is a friendly, mellow gent who loves attention, being handled and petted – not only on his head, but all over. Pie’s sweet disposition would be a suitable match for both beginner and experienced cat parents. Do you have room in your heart and home for Pie?” BONUS: Pie is ALREADY NEUTERED and he always PLAYS GENTLY. He rocked a PERFECT BEGINNER behavior rating because he BEGGED for affection, but the ACC will KILL this darling “GOLDEN OLDIE” at noon tomorrow, because poor Pie SNEEZED. Please don’t let them snuff out his life – Pie has YEARS of love left to share! Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt precious senior lovebug PIE! If you can’t save PIE yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

04/08/15 14:12 Basic Information Pie is a 12yr old neutured male cat that has no past or current medical issues according to the owner. Social Life & Personality The owner isn’t sure how Pie will respond in the presence of children or a dog due to never having either around. Pie has lived with cats but does not get along with them and will fight with the other cat. Pie is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Pie is described to be shy, mellow, and quiet with a medium activity level. Behavior Issues The owner isn’t sure how Pie will respond to certain grooming agents due to never attempting any on Pie. This applies to baths, nail trims, and things of that nature. However he does enjoy having his coat brushed and will allow this without issue. He doesn’t like to be held much and it can a struggle at times. It is also a struggle getting him in a cat carrier, on sight of one Pie will attempt to flee. For a New Family to Know Pie was brought up using regular clay litter and a standard litter box. He has no interest in cat toys and won’t engage in play with them. When in the home Pie is the type to rarely seek attention or remain in a favorite spot. If and when he does seek attention from a human he plays in a gentle manor. Pie was brought up eating both wet/dry food and the brands the owner gave was 9Lives & Meow Mix.
