04/16/15 – ADDISON – A1032682 – BROOKLYN, NY
4-16-2015 Brooklyn Rescue: ***SAFE*** Pulled by All Sentient Beings- Donation website: http://www.AnimalLoversNetwork.org Please honor your pledges:
ADDISON IS ONLY A YEAR OLD AND FACING DEATH FOR BEING HOMELESS AND FRIGHTENED! Little ADDISON got slapped with a NEW HOPE rating, which means she never made it to the adoption floor, nope, ACC just deemed her ‘unadoptable’ because she hissed and growled and hid. She came in from the Cityline area of East New York and she well may be a scared lost or abandoned cat as it states that when the Assessor went to meet her, ADDISON came out of her cubicle, probably thinking it was her person! Then she hissed and retreated, because the ACC is a scary place and if ADDISON is a lost or abandoned cat, she has no idea whats going on. Don’t give up on ADDISON! Give her a chance-offer to foster this girl-for those emerald green eyes will meet yours in trust when she’s safe. Don’t give up on her the way ACC has! Don’t let her die for being afraid! SAVE ADDISON TONIGHT!!!!! TONIGHT IS ALL SHE HAS!

04/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Addison was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment she was displaying behaviors that prevent placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She is extremely fearful and likes to hide. She currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time. Reaction to assessor: was hiding when I approach cage (3) When spoken quietly: comes out to meet you Reaction to door cage opening: retreats Reaction to touch: hisses, reteats (4) Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid, hisses and tries to flee. Placement Determination: NewHope
