I am a female black domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 1 YEAR 1 MONTH old.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 03/25/2015 from NY 10458, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

extending tx for 5 more days still has URI signs sneezing, congested diarrhea present in cage as per 1009, requested parvo test and fecal test done – both parvo and fecal results are negative spoke to 1009 about findings and stated to: extend current tx for 5 more days add nebulizing BID for 7 days 75cc LRS SQ SID for 5 days Metronidazole 50mg/mL .75cc BID for 5 days NOSF

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Sparkle was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, she chirps and rubs her body against the cage front. Reaction to cage door opening: Sparkle remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Sparkle remains in place for petting, begins to purr, and rubs her cheeks against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to toy or novel object: Sparkle shows no interest in playing. Reaction to being picked up: Sparkle remains soft and allows all handling. Note: Sparkle was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. The finder reported that she was friendly with most people and allowed them to pick her up. She was also easy to handle during her initial medical exam. Behavior Determination: Beginner Sparkle interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
