Reaction to assessor: Sparkle was calm, relaxed, and friendly upon approach. When softly spoken to, she chirps and rubs her body against the cage front. Reaction to cage door opening: Sparkle remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Sparkle remains in place for petting, begins to purr, and rubs her cheeks against the assessor’s hand. Reaction to toy or novel object: Sparkle shows no interest in playing. Reaction to being picked up: Sparkle remains soft and allows all handling. Note: Sparkle was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. The finder reported that she was friendly with most people and allowed them to pick her up. She was also easy to handle during her initial medical exam. Behavior Determination: Beginner Sparkle interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
