04/11/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Bill was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. He relaxed a little and I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with out children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: ignores me completely (2) Reaction to door cage opening: retreats (3) Reaction to touch: moves away from me to avoid being touched (3) Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, retreats Placement Determination: ENC
