04/11/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Meows loudly, body low, ears back. (3) When spoken quietly: Continues to meow. (3) Reaction to door cage opening: Becomes stiff and alert. (3) Reaction to touch: Moves away to avoid touch. (3) Try picking cat up: Did not attempt, cat appears stressed. Notes: Pebbles came in to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history in a home environment. At the time of the assessment, Pebbles is displaying fearful body language. He keeps his body low and avoids the assessor. Pebbles would be suited to an experienced home with no children where he can be given proper adjustment time.
