Notes: TiTi was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying shy behavior, did not come to the front of the kennel but interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. TiTi is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front, resting on top of Cozy Cat box When spoken quietly: does not come to front, resting on top of Cozy Cat box Reaction to door cage opening: TiTi wakes up and watches the assessor, appears shy Reaction to touch: TiTi hesitates for a brief moment but allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: TiTi is tolerant of this type of handling with a slow approach Placement Determination: Average
