Approx 3 mos
S/O: QAR, severe mucoid nasal discharge and conjunctivitis OU. Multiple lingual and oral mucosal ulcers. Had large amount of dried discharge stuck to face. Possible crackles ausculted on right side of chest, difficult to discern if true crackles or reffered upper airway noises. Eating kitten food well. BCS 3/9. Dehydrated. Flea dirt present, mild crusty debris AU.
Gave 20ml SQ LRS, and 1 ml nutrical
FeLV/FIV negative
Pan Leuk negative
Gave 0.06ml buprenorphine
Did not give FVRCP or Rabies vaccine due to illness.
A: Severe URI, possible early pneumonia
P: Notified NH, recommended deadline for placement of 12/23 PM. Will start doxycycline, and nebulization treatments. Kitten requires veterinary care upon placement for monitoring and supportive care.
