The previous owner had TIGER from 6 months of age,yet only NOW cites allergies! TIGER is NEUTERED and at just 1 and a half years old,this guy is sure behaving perfectly in the shelter! He’s even earned a BEGINNER rating which means he could fit in most any home as he’s lived with cats,dogs and older kids! PLEASE, offer to FOSTER or ADOPT TIGER and give him a home that he won’t be soon thrown out of!

11/11/15 09:19 BASIC INFORMATION: Mittens & Tiger are 1yr 8months of age black DSH cats. Bothe Mittens & Tiger were given to owner as a gift when they were 6 months of age. Mittens and Tiger had one kitten together, 6 months ago. Mittens & Tiger do not have any known medical problems & have been surrendered to ACC due to family member’s severe allergies towards cats. SOCIALIZATION: Mittens & Tiger are both very friendly & social towards humans. They have resided with children ages 12 and up. Both of them play gently & love attention. Mittens & Tiger have not been exposed to other cats other than their 6 month old kitten. Both Mittens & Tiger got along well with their kitten. They also resided with two small breed dogs & got along well with them. Both cats tolerated the dogs presence. Both Mittens & Tiger are litter box trained & are kept indoors only. Mittens activity level is medium to low & she is best described as a mellow, friendly & affectionate cat. Tigers activity level is high & he is best described as a playful, friendly & affectionate cat. Both Mittens & Tiger have never bitten or scratched another animal or person. BEHAVIOR: Mittens & Tiger may give owner a struggle when getting their nails trimmed. They allow owner to place them into a carrier with ease & do not show signs of aggression when they are disturbed when sleeping. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Mittens & Tiger use clumping litter inside of an uncovered litter box. They enjoy playing with strings & stuffed toys. They enjoy scratching on fabric or wood and will need a scratching post made from fabric or wood with bark. When owner is home, they will follow the owner around. They play gently with the owner & are relaxed during car rides. Both Mittens & Tiger enjoy eating dry food from Meow mix. They enjoy sleeping on owners bed. BEHAVIOR UPON INTAKE: Upon intake both Mittens & Tiger displayed loose & relaxed bodies. They enjoyed counselors attention & allowed all handling.
