Basic Information
Tiger is a 7yr old neutered male cat that has no past or current medical issues according to the owner.
Social Life & Personality
Tiger comes from a home with children but didn’t interact with them much. Tiger just prefers to keep his distance from the children. The owner isn’t sure how will respond in the presence of another cat due to never having on present for him to interact with. This also applies to dogs. Tiger is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Tiger is described to be shy, mellow, and independent with a low activity level.
Behavior Issues:
Tiger doesn’t take well to any grooming agents and this applies to baths, nail trims, and things to that nature. However he will allow you to brush his coat and this can be done without any issue. Tiger doesn’t like to be held and will try and bite if you try and lift him according to the owner. He doesn’t take well to cat carriers and appears to be afraid when trying to put him in one.
For a New Family to Know:
Tiger was brought up using clumping litter and a standard litter box. He enjoys all sorts of cat toys and will play with just about anything. When in the home Tiger is the type to be in the same room but not seeking attention. When interacting with humans Tiger can be a bit rough, he uses his nails at times and he also likes to nibble on hands. Tiger was brought up eating dry food only and the brand the owner gave was Purina Cat Chow.
