***SAFE 08/08/15*** SWEET SHY TORTIE KITTEN, DUMPED AS A “STRAY” HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING, BUT WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE SNEEZED – PLEASE GRANT TIARA A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Pretty princess TIARA, an 11-month-old tortoiseshell kitten, was stuffed into the kill-happy ACC as a supposed “STRAY”, yet she entered the shelter at a healthy weight, FREE of fleas and ear mites. It’s obvious that Tiara is a lost or abandoned pet kitten. This sweet, shy girl earned a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating, but poor Tiara caught the notorious ACC kitty cold. The heartless ACC prefers to KILL rather then CURE, so this EXCELLENT tortie kitten will be MURDERED at noon tomorrow, for a cold that can easily and inexpensively be treated! Please save this darling girl. Torties have wonderfully EXUBERANT personalities, known as TORTITUDE. Bring some Tortitude into your life today. Start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt sweet tortie girl TIARA! If you can’t TIARA yourself, please SHARE her sad story and PLEDGE for her rescue!

08/03/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to Assessor: Tiara was at the front, but lowers her head upon approach. She begins to hiss and spit when softly spoken to. Reaction to cage door opening: Tiara becomes stiff and alert. Reaction to touch: Tiara backs away slightly from the assessor’s hand, but remains immobile with touch and lowers her entire body. Her ears bend sideways, but she did not display any further reaction. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Tiara tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
