I am a female calico domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 8 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 06/01/2015 from NY 11208, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

She is a low key girl, is a little tentative at first, but will emerge to greet you looking for your attention. She is a lovable cat with her small stature which may make you not notice at first because she is not an attention-getting kitty. But once you do see her you will be glad you did. She is a sweet lady who desires your love and she will show you she appreciates your attention. Notes: Tiara was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Tiara is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) When spoken quietly: does not come to front but looks at you, calm, relaxed and friendly (1) Reaction to door cage opening: remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: allows petting and attention (1) Try picking cat up: tolerant of this type of handling.
