*** SAFE 04/25/15 *** THIN MINT NEEDS A HEAP OF TLC!! A one year old stray, THIN MINT is clearly out of his element at the ACC. This handsome young gray guy needs a purrson who can “cat whisper” to help him come around. He also needs a competent vet evaluation. BUT THAT CAN ONLY HAPPEN IF SOMEONE STEPS UP TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!! PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO SAVE A LIFE BY FOSTERING IF YOU CAN’T ADOPT PERMANENTLY….The rescue will help with the vet bills while you give THIN MINT the care he needs!!

04/21/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Thin Mint came to us as a stray on 4/15/15. Thin Mint was not handled upon intake because he came in a trap cage. Thin Mint can be seen in the kennel with neutral body language when approached, but does not come to the front of the kennel or solicit attention. He did not allow the assessor to pet him, and becomes very tense when an attempt was made. The behavior department believes that Thin Mint can go to an experienced home with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral(2) When spoken to quietly: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) Reaction to cage door opening: Retreats (3) Reaction to touch: moves away from you to avoid being touched. Body is tense, licks lips and does not allow petting. (4)
