10/17/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: The Fonz looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: The Fonz remains lying down on his cage bedding, mild tension shows in face. Reaction to touch: The Fonz accepts a stroke on the head, but slowly retreats with ears lowered, hisses, and swats at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY The Fonz is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
