I am a neutered male black domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 4 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 08/15/2015 from NY 10301, owner surrender reason stated was TOO MANY P. I came in with Group/Litter #K15-027420.

08/15/15 16:03 Basic Information: Tetsuo is a 4yr old neutered male cat that that has no past or current medical issues that they are aware of. Social Life & Personality: Tetsuo has been around children and didn’t interact with them much but when he did Tetsuo interacted in a playful gentle manner. Tetsuo has been around other cats and dogs. Tetsuo interacted with them both in a gentle playful manner. Tetsuo is an indoor only cat that is litter box trained. Tetsuo is described to be playful, quiet, and shy with a medium activity level. Behavior Issues: Tetsuo has never bitten a person or another animal according to the owner. The owner isn’t sure how Tetsuo would respond to grooming agents like recieving a bath and having his nails trimmed. However he will allow you to brush his coat and this can be done with no issues. Tetsuo doesn’t like to be held and doesn’t take well to being put in a cat carrier for transport. For a New Family to Know: Tetsuo was brought up using regular clay litter and a standard litter box. Tetsuo has little to no interest in cat toys according to the owner. When in the home Tetsuo is the type to be hidden or be in a favorite spot. When interacted with humans Tetsuo plays in a gentle manner. Tetsuo was brought up eating both wet/dry food and there was no specific brand that the owner gave.

He interacted with them both in a gentle playful manner. Also, is described to be playful, quiet, and shy with a medium activity level. Reaction to assessor: Tetsuo looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Tetsuo remains resting on his cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Tetsuo accepts the stroke, stands with tail up, and began to head-butt the assessor’s hand. Reaction to Being Picked up: He calmly jumps back into his cage. Placement determination: Average Tetsuo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
