He’s a friendly guy so we can only wonder where he was or had him previously. Naturally he’s a little shy and fearful in the shelter but a little time, patience and TLC will take care of that!! 10/26/15 11:45 Ted Mosby was found as a stray. His finder stated that he has been hanging around their apartment building for the past month. He will approach stangers cautiously and will run if they get too close. Client was able to pick him up and place him in a soft sided carrier. He was quiet and calm during the transfer and the ride to the care center. During intake, Ted Mosby allowed the counselor to scan him for a microchip,pet, collar and photograph. He was tense when removing and placing back in the carrier and made a soft, low growl towards the end but did not attempt to bite/scratch.

Reaction to assessor: Ted looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Ted remains crouched positon at the back of the cage, body held tightly, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Ted accepts the stroke, but stiffens up in place and began to lip lick. Placement determination: Experience Ted Mosby tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
