***SAFE 12/09/15*** TIMID TAYLOR ALLOWED PETTING, but needs someone to prove to her that the world can be a good place. She needs it fast too because the ACC are planning on ending her life tomorrow at noon. TAYLOR came in a trap, as a ‘stray’ but this little wide eyed girl allowed herself to be petted. Now what she needs is to be taken home, and allowed to adjust. She doesn’t need a Cat Whisperer, but a kind and patient person-there is no doubt that TAYLOR at some point knew people meant food and kindness, she has allowed petting. But she needs you to save her life-offer to get her out off death row and into your home for some kindness!

11/29/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
11/29/15 10:55 Profile wasn’t left due to cats being stray. Behavior During Intake: Taylor was brought into the facility in a trap provided by the finder. Upon arrival Taylor was thrashing around the trap in attempts to flee. When I extended my hand to see if it would allow handling Taylor hissed and fled in the opposite direction. Due to this fearful behavior I was not able to handle Taylor at the time of intake.
12/06/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Taylor is an adorable young lady with a lovely black and white tuxedo-like coat, but she’s feeling a bit overwhelmed. She would do very well in the home of experienced cat parents, preferably with no children. The structure and love that Taylor’s new forever cat parents would give her would definitely bring out the best this kitty has to offer!
12/01/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Taylor came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Taylor was fearful and did not allow handling. Reaction to cage door opening: Taylor remains motionless, a bit stiff. Reaction to touch: Taylor ducks away to avoid being touched, but allows petting. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Taylor appears fearful, avoids interaction with the assessor, and is tense during handling.
