10/17/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Taylor was bought into the care center by his previous owner. No other information was left. Reaction to assessor: Taylor was hiding when the assessor approached the cage When spoken quietly: Taylor continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Taylor remains motionless Reaction to touch: Taylor was very tense but allowed petting Try picking cat up: Taylor allows handling for a limited time before attempting to flee Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Taylor was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and continues to hide when the kennel was open. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that Taylor goes to a home with experienced cat parents.
