04/06/15 18:52 Taylor seemed friendly during the intake. She had a soft body and was meowing, and she allowed petting and handling and showed no signs of aggression. She was very motivated by food and kept trying to jump off of the counter to get to the food on top of the cabinet. She scanned negative for a microchip.

Taylor came to us as a stay on 4/6/15. Upon intake Taylor it was reported that Taylor was friendly with soft body language, and allowed all handling. Taylor started soliciting attention as soon as the assessor approached. He allowed the assessor to touch him while maintaining soft and relaxed body language throughout the assessment. The behavior department believes that Taylor can go to a beginner home. Reaction to assessor: Comes to the front of cage – soliciting, rubbing against cage (1) When spoken to quietly: Stays at front – continues to solicit attention, rubbing, purring, meowing (1) Reaction to cage door opening: Remains soft and relaxed (1) Reaction to touch: Solicits petting and attention – rubs, chirps, meows (1). Reaction to being picked up: Tolerant of this type of handling.
