***SAFE 07/09/15 *** TERRIFIC TAURUS IS LOOKING TO THE STARS FOR HELP TONITE!! TAURUS and friend ARIES are at the ACC because their owner is hospitalized. TAURUS is quite confused by the whole thing and wants to be friendly but is just feeling afraid and is cautious….TAURUS was “social and sweet” during his med exam and probably just needs a little time and TLC….THE ONLY BULL TONIGHT IS THE ACC PUTTING THIS CAT ON A KILL LIST!! DON’T WAIT FOR AN ALIGNMENT OF THE PLANETS!! OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT TAURUS (and maybe ARIES??) NOW!!

06/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Taurus looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Taurus remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with direct strare. Reaction to touch: Taurus at first, accepts the stroke on the head, but along the body he hissed at the assessor’s hand. While petting him again he slowly head-butts, but then moderately nips at the hand, leans away, and hisses. Placement determination: Experience / no child Taurus tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
