SUZIE – A1042047
7-5-2015 Manhattan
***GONE 07/05/15*** BEAUTIFUL SUZIE WAS DUMPED FOR ALLERGIES BY HER OWNER, AND NOW SHE WILL DIE BECAUSE SHE HAS NO HOME!! SUZIE is not a happy girl at all. After living in a home for 9 long years her owner dumps her in the kill shelter for allergies – didn’t even find her a new home where she would be safe!! Now this older girl who is as beautiful as they come, will die at NOON because she has no home. SUZIE got an EXPNOCHILD rating because she was growling the minute she realized she was being abandoned. You can’t blame her – she is one smart cookie. SUZIE is not sick and only needs to see the vet for some dental cleaning and checking. She will be just fine once she is back in a safe and secure home where she can unwind. DON’T LET THE ACC MAKE THIS GORGEOUS CAT A STATISTIC. CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO PULL HER TO SAFETY!

06/29/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/29/15 20:15 Behavior during Intake: This cat was vocal during intake. The cat growled and hissed as soon as I opened the owner’s carrier. The cat allowed the owner to transfer into an ACC carrier with no issue. When I opened the door to invite the cat out for a photo and to collar, she growled and hissed again. As I was carrying the cat back to medical it also was hissing.

07/03/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Suzie looks tense in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Suzie hisses at first, slowly hremains at the front of the cage, soft and relaxed, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch:Suzie hisses at first, slowly head-butts with ears to the side then stands up with tail down and began to purr in place, however she remains cautious with sudden with noises. Placement determination: Experience / no child Suzie tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
