SULIS – A1048777
8-27-2015 Manhattan
**GONE 08/27/15 NEW HOPE RESCUE NEEDED FOR A BABY GIRL!! SULIS is only 9 months old and she’s utterly terrified, so the ACC has warehoused her for 4 days and tomorrow, she will die. That’s how the plan is sketched out as of right now, but a FOSTER or ADOPTER could totally rewrite history! All it takes is ONE willing person with a tiny bit of space—even a bathroom is okay—and a New Hope rescue partner to back them. SULIS is just a kitten who is still learning about the world. Don’t let her have known only fear and confusion for her short life. Advocate widely for SULIS, tonight!

08/22/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/22/15 10:56 Sulis A1048777 is a young female white & gray DSH feline who was found in the hallway of their residence in the Bronx. The finder is unable to keep Sulis themselves but felt bad for her being homeless and decided it best for her to be brought in to us. The finder stated Sulis didn’t mind being placed into a box to be brought in. During intake Sulis allowed to be picked up/held and scanned (-). Once scanned Sulis hissed and attempted to scratch/flee from the handler but they were able to place her into a kennel and no further handling was done. We placed food & water into the kennel which made Sulis very alert and she began to eat voraciously.

Reaction to touch: Sulis does not allow the stroke, strikes at the assessor’s hand and hisses. Placement determination: NH ONLY Sulis is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. She is stressed in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting.
