Notes: Steel was brought to the shelter as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. She seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment she was displaying behaviors that prevent placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. She has tried to flee and is extremely fearful. She currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
