He’s a laid back friendly guy who has been dumped because he’s old and has a possible UTI which is easily treatable. He is a pretty healthy guy and would probably be better off on a wet food diet….ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT, THIS SENIOR GENT IS A DREAM!! 04/16/15 22:03 Cat Name: Static Reason for surrender: Pet health Relationship: Owner had Static since 2001 from a corner store in her neighborhood. People: Static lived with adults and children of all ages. Static is usually tolerant towards everyone in the household. Other Animals: Static lived with another cat and also a dog which was a Shih Tzu. Static was respectful and tolerant towards other animals. Personality/Habits: Owner stated Static loved all the children in the household. His activity level is to a medium, he likes to play with balls, strings and chasing games. He has a scratching post made out of rough rope he like to scratch on. Static enjoys being picked up and held. He struggled to take a bath but enjoyed being brushed. Static likes to follow owner around the house, be in his favorite spot which is the bed or sit on owne lap. Static likes to sleep on chairs on owner bed. Static was well behaved when home alone and didn’t scratch any furniture. Owner stated Static is mellow, assertive, talkative and affectionate. Training: Static is an indoor cat and litter box trained. His litter box was uncovered and used clumping litter. Feeding: Static eats dry food called Meow Mix that’s left out for him all day. Behavior upon intake: Static was in a carrier laying down meowing. Once i opened the box Static beginning to hiss. No handling was performed in order not to stress Static.

Please take note: Static lived with adults and children of all ages. Static is usually tolerant towards everyone in the household. He lived with another cat and also a dog which was a Shih Tzu. Static was respectful and tolerant towards other animals. He loved all the children in the household. Also, stated Static is mellow, assertive, talkative and affectionate. Reaction to assessor: Static looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Static remains lying down on his cage bedding, immobile in place. Reaction to touch: Static accepts the stroke, head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: He calmly jumps back into his cage. Placement determination: Average Static interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
