Gorgeous one-year-old gray tabby kitten STAR ANGEL, dumped into the ACC’s Death Camp for Kitties as a STRAY waif, weighs just 4.3 pounds! This pretty princess is a diamond in the rough who needs some TLC to bring her back to her full potential! Star Angel is understandably somewhat afraid in the scary shelter environment, but she DID allow petting, earning a very good EXPNOCHILD behavior rating. Did I mention that Star Angel is PERFECTLY HEALTHY? No matter – the ACC will KILL her at noon tomorrow! Please don’t let them snuff out her precious life when it’s just beginning! Notes: Star Angel was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to was seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. Allows very limited touching. Although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front but remains neutral (2) When spoken quietly: ignores me completely (2) Reaction to door cage opening: retreats (3) Reaction to touch: moves away from me to avoid being touched/ tries to flee (3) Try picking cat up: not tolerant of this type of handling, nervous Placement Determination: Experience no child
