I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 04/18/2015 from NY 10453, owner surrender reason stated was NEW BABY.

She’s friendly, affectionate, and just about prettiest gal around. She’s so petite and delicate that I initially thought she was a kitten. Our Star is all set to become the leading lady in your life. Hop off your couch and come to the Manhattan Care Center to adopt the next big thing!

Please take note: Star’s former owner stated she is very shy around strangers and children, would need to spend time with you for awhile. Reaction to assessor: Star looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Star remains sitting upright by the front of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Star accepts the stroke, but her main focus was to explore outside of her cage. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy and jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Star interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
