Our gorgeous orange gal immediately makes her star qualities shine. She’s friendly, affectionate, and just about prettiest gal around. She’s so petite and delicate that I initially thought she was a kitten. Our Star is all set to become the leading lady in your life. Hop off your couch and come to the Manhattan Care Center to adopt the next big thing! I am a female org tabby domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 4 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 04/18/2015 from NY 10453, owner surrender reason stated was NEW BABY.

05/12/2015 Exam Type CAGE EXAM – Medical Rating is 3 C – MAJOR CONDITIONS , Behavior Rating is AVERAGE, Weight 9.2 LBS.

5/13 BARH MPND Continue current tx 5/12 BARH Did not eat dry food MPND A: keep in iso another 5 days P: Convenia ran out , in the interim did not receive a second inj. , so give 5 days of doxy PO SID ——————————————————— 5/11barh occular discharge seen from the left eye as per dr. 1009 star 1 tube of erythrom oint bid x 10 days nsof cage-exam some uri and ocular signs present cat is fearful, stays in box, but very sweet bar, eating adding daily uri rx– on convenia only

04/21/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please take note: Star’s former owner stated she is very shy around strangers and children, would need to spend time with you for awhile. Reaction to assessor: Star looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Star remains sitting upright by the front of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Star accepts the stroke, but her main focus was to explore outside of her cage. Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy and jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Star interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
