07/27/15 18:33 Stacy is a female orange tabby cat who is approximately 1 yrs. old. Stacy was found as a stray and brought to ACC for help in possibly being adopted. Stacy appears to be healthy and has showed no signs of negative behavior. Stacy was nervous due to being in a new surrounding and di not allow herself to be collared. Stacy did however allow herself to be transferred into new carrier and allowed herself to be photographed in the new carrier. Stacy is nervous being in a new place and will need time to become adjusted and comfortable in her new surroundings.

07/30/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Notes: Stacy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little and I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. Reaction to assessor: does not come to front, laying flat in litter When spoken quietly: does not come to front, laying flat in litter Reaction to door cage opening: remains motionless Reaction to touch: seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Stacy’s body was tense while being held Placement Determination: Experience
