Spritz has quite the lovely manners — she came out and patiently waited for her attention time and enjoyed her petting time. She is a gentle soul and would do well with someone who can not only appreciate her calico beauty, but also her friendly demeanor. I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/15/2015 from NY 10029, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

11/15/15 22:22 Cat was a stray on street nere E.122ND ST. Cat ran into apartment when woman opened her door. Cat was in carrier upon entering shealter. Cat allowed handling into one of our crates without problem. Also seems clean and calm.

Reaction to assessor: Spritz looks neutral in her cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Spritz remains sitting upright by the front of the cage, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Spritz head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: She calmly jumps back into her cage. Placement determination: Average Spritz interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
