FOUR THAT NEED FREEDOM TONIGHT!! HOGARTH, ZAPPA, SPOT AND FUR BALL ALL GOT THE SHORT END OF THE STICK!! Owner decided to move to a non pet-friendy place and trapped their cats leading to abrasions on 3 out of the 4. One of the cats (HOGARTH) may have eye damage. NOW THE ACC WANTS TO OBLITERATE ALL FOUR TOGETHER!! These cats all have Experience ratings but that is due to their being frightened and confused at their situation. PLEASE HELP THIS FAB FOURSOME FIND RESCUE TONITE!! MAYBE YOU CAN FOSTER OR ADOPT ONE OR TWO?? All that is needed is a couple folks to come forward and all four can be saved….YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO….SAVE THEM TONITE!!

04/07/15 18:26 NAME: Spot REASON FOR SURRENDER:Client is surrendering cats A1032471, 472, 473 & 474 due to a residential move to a home that does not allow pets RELATIONSHIP: Client has owned Spot for 4yrs. Spot was bred at home & does not have any known health issues. PEOPLE: Spot has lived with 2 adults & has not been exposed to children. Spot is very friendly towards adults that he is familiar with, he may be shy towards strangers. OTHER ANIMALS: Spot has lived with 3 other cats. Client stated Spot tends to be submissive around the other cats. Spot may lay down on his back and tries to get attention from the other cats. Spot has not shown any aggression towards the other cats & often plays with the other cats. Spot has not been exposed to dogs. PERSONALITY/HABITS: Spot is litter box trained & does not have accidents outside of litter box. Spot is kept indoors only. His activity level is high, Spot loves to play. Spot uses clumping litter inside of an uncovered litter box. Owner stated Spot does not have a scratching post but tends to scratch on a wooden rail. When owner is home, Spot will follow owner around & sit on lap. He does not like getting into carriers & will try to run away & hide. Spot enjoys eating dry food. He is best described as a playful, friendly & affectionate cat. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE: Spot appeared to be shy and afraid of his enviornment, allowed minimal handling.

Please take note: Spot has lived with 2 adults & has not been exposed to children. Spot is very friendly towards adults that he is familiar with, he may be shy towards strangers. Also, stated Spot tends to be submissive around the other cats. Spot may lay down on his back and tries to get attention from the other cats. Spot often plays with them. Reaction to assessor: Spot looks tense in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Spot remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Spot accepts the stroke, but stiffens in place and shows no interest with the touch. Placement determination: Experience / no child Spot tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
