SAFE 04/06/15 GORGEOUS KITTEN HAS A GREAT BEHAVIOR RATING AND IS PERFECTLY HEALTHY, BUT THE ACC WILL KILL HIM ANYWAY – PLEASE GRANT SPENCER A DEATH ROW PARDON!!! Exquisitely handsome 13-month-old brown tabby kitten SPENCER was dumped into the kill-happy ACC for the “CRIME” of causing ALLERGIES, but this lovebug got GLOWING REVIEWS from his former owner: “He lived in a home with 2 adults and he has interacted with children ages 8 months and 5 years. He is usually relaxed or very tolerant around the children and when he plays with them, he is usually gentle. He usually would let the children play roughly with him and pull his tail and would show no signs of aggression. Spencer (A1021463) and Wallie (A1031464) lived together. They were usually relaxed or affectionate around each other, and when they played, they were usually gentle, exuberant, or somewhat rough. He is a moderately active cat who has been described as playful, friendly once he gets to know you, affectionate, confident, assertive, mellow, quiet, and independent. He enjoys chasing the laser light. He likes to follow his owner around when his owner is home. He usually sleeps in the kitchen.” But despite Spencer’s very good ACC EXPERIENCE NO CHILD behavior rating, the ACC will kill him at noon tomorrow, despite the fact that this excellent kitten is PERFECTLY HEALTHY. Please start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable tabby kitten SPENCER! If you can’t save SPENCER yourself, please SHARE his sad story and PLEDGE for his rescue!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please take note: He lived in a home with 2 adults and he has interacted with children ages 8 months and 5 years. He is usually relaxed or very tolerant around the children and when he plays with them, he is usually gentle. He usually would let the children play roughly with him. Also, lived with another cat they were usually relaxed or affectionate around each other, and when they played, they were usually gentle, exuberant, or somewhat rough. He has been described as playful, friendly once he gets to know you, affectionate, confident, assertive, mellow, quiet, and independent. Reaction to assessor: Spencer looks neutral in his cage when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Spencer remains crouched down on his cage bedding, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Spencer accepts the stroke, head-butts the assessor’s hand, but then got overly aroused with the touch. During the touch, he solicits attention but began to low growl then hiss. Placement determination: Experience / no child Spencer tolerates attention and petting but may be stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
